Digital Health

Digitisation of healthcare is essential for us all to have better healthcare. Not just accessible but also the best outcome for me. It includes getting closer to me as an individual and understanding my needs. It involves clinicians and health systems connecting with me when I want. It involves anticipation of my needs, contextualised with my data. It might have started a few years ago with simple data, but today the tools being used far exceed the expectation of yesterday. We can all achieve better outcomes in healthcare thanks to the availability of digital tools to help us with our needs. Doctors a decade ago would not have dreamt that continuous blood glucose monitoring is possible today. That it is easy to pick up arrhythmia through a watch and it is possible to judge pulse rate through a camera. We live in a digital era that is helping to unlock the opportunity of healthier ageing.
